‘Cornflowers (on silk)’1989
9" x 7" including frame and mount
Price does not include back-lighting
A rare example of my Batik work done on silk instead of the usual cotton. The silk is beautiful to work on and lends itself particularly to the delicate detail needed for flowers. The fineness and sheen on the surface of the silk means that they are best lit from the front.
